“Not Slytherin, not Slytherin, anything but Slytherin!” By the start of Hogwarts Legacy, we’ll probably be begging for the Sorting Hat like Harry was before his first year. However, Warner is already allowing fans to reserve their spot in the correct common room several months before release.

This is how you can take over your house in Hogwarts Legacy
In order to take ownership of your house and wand in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first create and link a few accounts. We explain step by step how it works:
- First you need an account with WB Games and at Harry Potter Fan Club the Wizarding World.
- If you haven’t already done so, you can sort yourselves into one of the four houses in the Harry Potter Fan Club and have your Patronus and wand chosen.
- Now log into your WB Games account and click on the Connections tab on the left. There you will find the Harry Potter Fan Club at the bottom of the list. Click on “Connect”.
- After the role-playing game has been released, all you have to do is log in with your WB account and your house data will be linked to the role-playing game.
Here you can sort yourself into your house and, on top of that, have your Patronus and magic wand determined.
Incidentally, the Patronus has not yet been mentioned. So how it behaves with the magic is still unclear. It may be that we will be assigned a new protective animal in the role-playing game.
Can I also select my house in the game?
According to the FAQ page on the official Hogwarts Legacy homepage it should also be possible to choose your house at the beginning of the game. So if you play as Hufflepuff but don’t want to link your accounts, you should still be able to choose between the four options.
However, the exclusive items are only available to those who log into the game with their Warner account. With this campaign, the publisher is celebrating “Back To Hogwarts” together with the Harry Potter community – because on September 1st the students will be returning to the wizarding school for a new school year.

After linking your accounts, you should receive a small confirmation. Immediately afterwards you can register directly dust off exclusive wallpapers
As an extra for account linking, there is an exclusive one House Fan-Atic school robes – one each for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff – and one Skull mask with beak, which reminds us a lot of Death Eater masks and was also worn by villains in the gameplay trailer. We will probably only find out exactly what this is all about after the release.
As an extra there is a school robe and a mask.
