Atreus It is confirmed that you will be able to stream Persona 3 Portable Edition and persona 4 goldBut it’s odd that you have to include a spoiler warning.
The thing about streaming games on Twitch and posting let’s plays on YouTube is that it’s in a gray area. It’s technically showing off copyrighted material, but most developers know it’ll end up making them more money because it’s essentially free promotion.Atlus doesn’t seem to acknowledge this often, though, as back in Persona 5
As Persona Central shared, you can stream all P3P and P4G, which is a significant improvement over P5R. However, you must do one thing: Any video or live stream must make sure viewers know it contains spoilers. “When delivering content corresponding to a story, such as an event scene, please clearly indicate that the content contains a story, so as not to deprive other customers of their enjoyment,” the rule reads in its entirety.
Atlus also notes that it “may remove the video and pause the live stream,” which it deems “inappropriate,” so keep that in mind if you plan to do anything with the game, even though it’s vague. It is understandable to ask everyone to think about spoilers, but it is a bit strange for P3P and P4G, two games that have a history of more than ten years.
Either way, if you’re interested in checking out the games, streaming or not, you can check them out on Xbox when they hit Game Pass next week.
