One of the great things about Rockstar games is the crazy attention to detail, which may only apply to studios that launch a full game per generation.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of subtle touches that you may not immediately notice, such as how a horse's ball shrinks in the cold and swings on sunny days, or how Arthur Morgan's beard grows in real time, and even develops himself Physical principles. It grows longer.
Then there are the animals, each modeled based on the behavior of their real-world peers. Watch this video to compare the animals in Red Dead Redemption 2 with real animals for a deeper understanding.
Another thing I never noticed while playing the game is that you can actually stare at a bear to stop it from attacking you, mainly because the bear's performance in the game is frightening. All you need to do is stand on your feet as the ground approaches and wait for it to drift.
According to players, this sometimes doesn't work-I think it depends on the bear market-but this is usually a valid tactic. Can I stand?
This is a video showing the interaction:
Players on Reddit have been doing the same thing:
It took me a long time to successfully achieve this goal, and I finally achieved it today, and in all my gaming experience, there has never been a bad guy like this. From r / RedDeadOnline
For Rockstar developers, people are still solving problems long after launch. Just a few days ago, we discovered the "vomiting rope", an unexpected mechanism that allows Red Dead Redemption 2 players to fall from a height without being harmed.
