Leaks to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can result in penalties. This is how Nintendo is said to have taken action against the Switch Leaker from Gamestop.

There have been various leaks for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in the past, which ultimately turned out to be real.
In order to take action against such leaks, Nintendo is now said to have demanded a deterrent penalty. A Gamestop employee is said to have revealed before the official announcement by the publisher that a switch model in the Zelda design would appear.
How my city reported that the employee was fired on April 11 at the request of the Japanese video game company.
This isn’t the first time Nintendo has called for a penalty for leakers. Nintendo should seek a lawsuit against Discord if the company does not disclose the identity of a leaker.
