The action game Zombie Army 4: Dead War, released in February 2020, also makes the leap to the newer consoles. Special optimizations are already starting this week.
Rebellion heaves its current shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War on the current platforms PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. As it has now become known, corresponding upgrades for the last-gen versions should start this week.
The PS5 version is already available. Anyone who bought the PS4 version can now secure a corresponding update for free and then benefit from optimizations on the PS5. The title then runs on the new console in 4K resolution at 60Hz; in addition, the loading times are reduced.
Xbox gamers will have to wait until April 8th, when the title will run on Xbox Series S at 1080p @ 60Hz with faster loading times. On the Xbox Series X there is a quality mode with 4K @ 60Hz or optionally a performance mode with 1080p @ 120Hz; Gamers can therefore enjoy 120 frames per second. Here, too, the upgrade is available at no additional cost.
These updates are just in time, after all, Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be available for free in April via PS Plus. On the Xbox, the game will be included in the Game Pass from April 8th.
