Newly announced title Alien Hominid Invasion certified switch for developer and publisher Behemoth. Described & # 39; as a re-thinking & # 39; original 2004, it was unveiled at the end of January, and while it looks clear the game will be coming to Switch – especially the one released last year Designation of King's Forts – now confirmed alongside Steam and Xbox One versions (though apparently skipping the PS4).
The announcement of the platforms comes with a new gameplay trailer (above), though we're still a little unsure of how this is a start and how much new it is; there is a lot of room to understand & # 39; re-thinking & # 39 ;! The trailer above certainly looks to keep the explosive energy and complexity of the first game from GameCube days.
In a press release accompanying the press release and Behemoth magazine founder Dan Paladin describes the game as a new way of getting our articles from the past 16 years, applying everything we have learned there! While the game will adapt in some ways, it is very new and unique. Here is a list of features highlighted by devs:
• Up to 4-player local and online co-op
• Get your gameplay mode and offline experience
• Attack intersecting intersections from hundreds of carefully thought-out city blocks
• Complex movements with Alien sarobatics including flying, diving, throwing your enemies and more
• Unlock and equip tons of unique weapons, upgrades, and cosmetics
• Jump up and modify your Alien to use new mechanics like speed, cure, and flight!
• Three Difficulties: Friendly, General, and INSANE
• cutscenes full of Photos
We have fond memories of the original and a 4-player local co-op ready to switch. No news on pricing or release date yet, but Behemoth names suggest that it may be a while (our emphasis below):
Co-ordinated rifle & # 39; n & # 39; the gun is a re-imagining of the original Alien Hominid as well it will eventually make its way on Steam, Nintendo Switch®, and Xbox One.
In the event that this includes a switch, we will be ready. Let us know your original thoughts and memories by taking the trip to the bottom of the comment section.
