As all Zelda fans know, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild It is one of the most outstanding games of the franchise and the one that marked a turning point in the saga by showing new mechanics and a large open world. In fact, it is today one of the most incredible games we have on Nintendo Switch.
In BOTW we can directly combat Ganon without needing to do any secondary content of the game. Although it is at least advisable to release the 4 divine beastssince this will make combat much easier (it is also advisable to get the Master Sword before facing Ganon).
Breath of the Wild in the Zelda universe
Beyond that, the title has multitude of side quests and main quests. The latter are what will make us advance in the history of the title to reach its end. As most of you know, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild actually has 2 different endings that we can achieve.
After confronting the figure of Ganon in his chamber in Hyrule Castle, Link must kill one of Ganon’s forms, which rides through the field of Hyrule. Once we defeat him, and if certain conditions are met, a second ending.
Logically, the details that will be presented below reveal endgame detailsso if you have not played or completed it yet, we recommend not reading it. Spoilers below:
These are the differences between the two endings in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Recovery of memories – The second of Breath of the Wild’s two endings is shown depending on whether or not the player has recovered all of Link’s lost memories. If not, the game ends after Zelda tells Link how proud she is, that he never lost faith, and she fin ally asks him: “Do you really remember me?”
- If we have pending missions – If we have found all the memories in Breath of the Wild, we will be shown Zelda and Link looking at Hyrule Field from a hill after the “End” screen appears. Zelda continues talking about there is still a lot of work to do, so it leaves us with a perfect open ending for TOTK.
- Know your true identity – If Link did not recover any of his memories before defeating Ganon, his response to Zelda asking if he remembered her would be “No.” This being a somewhat more “dry” and distant ending between the two.
As you already know, much of the history of Breath of the Wild is counted through flashbacksand whether we have managed to recover those memories or not.
