PlayStation is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its original console, and it does so in a very special way.
The Japanese brand has teamed up with the iconic pop duo YOASOBI to release a song based on fans' stories about the games they wish they could forget to relive again again and again.
Project: Memory Card
The project, announced by the Japanese PlayStation account on X, is called Project: Memory Card and aims immortalize fan experiences in a special song by YOASOBI. The premise is: What game would you like to forget to experience it again as if it were the first time?

To participate, fans must share their stories answering that question.
The collaboration of YOASOBI and PlayStation
In a video posted to announce the project, catalyst, the producer of YOASOBI confessed that has been a gamer foreverremembering his hours playing classics like Monster Hunter, Metal Gear y Resident Evil on PlayStation consoles. On the other hand, Lilac Cityvocalist of the duo, invited all fans to send their stories to fuel the inspiration for this new song.
Curiously, Ayase is 30 years old, the same age as the first PlayStation console has been with us for years.

In addition to the collaboration with YOASOBI, PlayStation launched a commemorative video on their Japanese and English YouTube channels, reviewing the best moments in its history.
