For most people, being hired by Nintendo and helping create a series like this Animal Crossing i can maybe be a dream project they will want to keep doing as long as possible. Not everyone in the company sees the remainder of their working years there, though.
Isao Moro is one of those people who have decided to leave Nintendo, to pursue something else. In 2018 he left Nintendo for unknown reasons, however, now it has been discovered that he has moved to Okinawa Island in Japan to teach kids programming.
During an interview with 4Gamer Recently, she explained how her daughter, who was going to attend primary school, would soon become a reality. Programming has also been compulsory in Japanese schools this year, and Moro decided to help start his own classroom when he taught coding languages for children aged 8-9 with the help of robots built outside of Lego.
Isao Moro was previously a young director Animal Crossing: City Hall, co-director of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Crossing Animals: Happy Home Designer, and also special mention on the credits of Splatoon 2. Aside from Moro's departure, the series is in safe hands with current manager Aya Kyogoku, who has directed the New Leaf alongside Moro. She is the first female lead at Nintendo EAD.
