Nintendo creates a future world Crossing the Animals: New Horizons a game of Swap Nintendo and Nintendo Switch Lite PAX East Systems in Boston from February 27 to March 1. The full immersion experience will allow attendees to explore the lifestyle inspired by the advent of free arrival. Fans will have plenty of photo opportunities in an area inspired by Animal Crossing and used characters from the series, such as K.K. Slide, Isabelle and Tom Nook. Guests playing the game will receive a special Tom Nook themed tote bag, while supplies last.
Attendees are eager to jump into the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch will have the opportunity to try out the first game-created demons before it launches on March 20. The Nintendo-led drag-on display will give visitors a tour of one-player mode. In games, players can enjoy various relaxing activities in an abandoned island setting, such as designing, gardening, fishing, interior and exterior decorations, and interacting with the fascinating and familiar characters of Animal Crossing.
"We hope fans are ready to visit the island paradise of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so this year at PAX East we are bringing the island together and inviting all in attendance to play the game for the first time," said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We look forward to meeting the players and revitalizing our passion for sports."
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is just the beginning of what Nintendo is offering at this year's show. Attendees can also visit the site at Nintendo where the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center's top building is played with demos Pokémon sword and Pokémon Shield games. Explore the expanding Galar region of the area to catch and fight Pokémon, and interact with Pokémon at Pokémon Camp where making a break and relaxing with Pokémon is a great way to meet your team. Players can even meet the great Dynamax Pokémon in the Max Raid Battles. By trying the demo, fans will receive a special post brochure featuring photos from Galar, while supplies last. Pokémon Sword players and Pokémon Shield players are encouraged to bring their games and programs to the show to partner with others to meet Pokémon exclusive at Max Raid Battles and receive a special Pokémon PIN, while supplies last. Other fun activities include photos of Pikachu's dressed character, a chance to read later Pokémon Sword Extension Pass and Pokémon Shield Expension Pass with a directed demo of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: DX Rescue Team.
For those who are not afraid to be seen in color, attendees can be invited to the Nintendo stage to participate in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Max Raid Battles. Nintendo's platform will once again feature the gruesome ghost-hunting action Luigi's House 3, including ScreamPark's competitive mode for the game, a mini-game battle to determine the largest hunting party. Players can also try the multiplayer zany game Stretchers and work with a friend to collaborate to win physics-based puzzles for each madcap.
PAX East subscribers will have the opportunity to keep the free Warp Pipe Pass they will use at the Nintendo Booth and gain first-line access to Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Starts Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. ET, visitors can sign in with their Nintendo account at https://experience.nintendo.com/ setting up the Warp Pipe Pass for PAX East Day 1, while sales last.
The local PAX East store will also sell Animal Crossing: The New Horizon merchandise and other Nintendo products. Fans who stop by the My Nintendo check-in booth with their QR code can find an Isabelle deputy in the Animal Crossing series, while supplies last.
