Crossing the Animals: New Horizons hasn't been released yet, but its first update is now locked in and ready to go.
The game will be updated to Version 1.1.0 at 2 AM CET this Thursday, March 19. If you plan to buy this game on launch day (Friday 20) or later, you'll be able to update your game as usual when you download it first, but those who have already downloaded the game find that it should start downloading automatically before launch.
So what's really going on? Well, Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct was last month informed of the free updates scheduled for the game, and the first – originally scheduled for launch – was said to introduce a Bunny Day event with exclusive features from both New Horizons and Pocket Camp.
The first free update will be on launch day, March 20. By including this update, you can celebrate Bunny Day with a special event in April. If you belong to both Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for mobile devices and Crossing the Animals: New Horizons, you will receive special items for each game.
What is a zero patch? It works.
