Bandai Namco is preparing to release the classic GameCube game Tales of Tales of Symphonia Remastered for Nintendo Switch and other platforms. Today they released a new trailer that gives fans a closer look at Lloyd and his friends’ adventure through the world of Sylvarant featuring remastered HD visuals. Unfortunately, all versions of Tales of Symphonia Remastered will run at 30fps compared to the smoother 60fps of the original GameCube version. Tales of Symphonia Remastered is out on February 17th.
“Tales of Symphonia Remastered is set in the world of Sylvarant, a dying land in dire need of a constant source of mana, where legend dictates that the Chosen One will emerge to regenerate and restore the world. Players will follow the adventures of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they embark on a world adventure filled with memorable characters and an emotionally charged story that still resonates with longtime fans and will appeal to anyone who appreciates exciting gaming stories.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered will feature anime-inspired scenes, lovable characters, and a unique art style originally designed by renowned artist Kosuke Fujishima in stunning detail. In the game, players explore Sylvarant and face powerful enemies as they fight to bring it back from the brink of destruction. Classic JRPG gameplay puts hundreds of combinations of attacks and magic at players’ fingertips in real-time battles. Tales of Symphonia Remastered will also feature “couch co-op” local multiplayer for up to three additional players.”
