A few days ago, the ESRB (the American rating system) has rated one of the most anticipated games, and the controversy has not been lacking. Pokémon Legends: Arceus received an “in-app payments” notice that has raised alarm bells for some, assuming the game would have microtransacciones
Why do we tell you this? Because really, this notice was already contained in other games like Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl that, in no case do they have it. So what is the purpose of that warning? Well, the reality is that the ESRB considers the Nintendo Switch Online purchase notice to be “in-app payments” when we try to access online functions without having an active subscription.
As you can see, everything seems to indicate that finally Pokémon Legends: Arceus will not have microtransactions. So now you know, if a friend or acquaintance brings it up to you, show them this news to deny it! However, in case the game finally had some function of the style, we would keep you informed. However, we remind you that Pokémon Legends: Arceus goes on sale this January 28
What do you think? Had they told you about this before? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments!
