SNK’s Joshua Weatherford confirmed during the EVO 2024 panel that a new Art of Fighting game and a Samurai Shodown action RPG are in development. Weatherford mentioned that SNK is working on several projects and is looking to hire more staff to bring these games to life.
The new Art of Fighting will bring back South Town with the aesthetics of the 70swhile the action RPG Samurai Shodown promises surprises and it is one of the projects in which he himself is involved.
Additionally, Weatherford invited fans of these franchises interested in game development to submit your job applicationshighlighting the need for more talent to create these exciting titles. SNK is looking to expand its team to meet the expectations of these new games and continue to surprise the gaming community. Keep an eye out for these projects!
