Rumors have been swirling for a while now that Atlus will be releasing even more Persona games, and it seems that the western branch of the company has now accidentally revealed not one, but two of them ahead of schedule.
Trailers for Persona 3 Reload and Tactics for Persona 5 both were shared on Atlus West’s Instagram page before being taken down. They appear to have been intended for the Xbox showcase, with platforms listed as Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. AND separate list it also refers to the PlayStation and PC version of Persona 3 Remake.
If this sounds like a familiar situation, Xbox’s showcase last June also had exclusive rights to announce Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal – games that all eventually made their way to other platforms including the Switch.
The only difference, in this case, is that P3R is a remake and the other is a spin-off, but given Persona’s history with Nintendo platforms in recent years, there’s a chance these titles will be announced for other systems in the future. Persona 5 Tactica is a strategy title, which is due out November 17, 2023and Persona 3 Reloaded follows in “at the beginning of 2024“.
