Bandai Namco is tightening its grip on its video game development projects as the developer and publisher said it has canceled five games in development at its various studios. The cancellations come as Bandai Namco has revamped its internal criteria for judging the quality of its games. The company says it decided to do this because game development costs are rising. Fortunately, Little Nightmares 3 was not affected.
