North America
Uhh… Okay, this is a bit boring. Ethereal, maybe, but certainly boring. A lot of white space, while the character models are quite small and insignificant. We're sure this one will have its fans, but when we compare it to the European and Japanese variants, it just doesn't cut it for us. sorry
Europe
This is more like that. Here we have the protagonist striking a very striking pose against a bright yellow background with some excellent shadow work. It's simple, but it works; this would definitely stand out on the shelves at your local electronics store! Ah… Those were the days.
Japan
The Japanese design is very similar to the European one, but here it additionally uses landscape orientation to increase the size of the protagonist and move the main logo to the lower left corner of the composition. Again, it's a simple but effective choice, and we like it.
