Europe / North America
A big monster. A great hero. Great armor. Cute little guys. It seems to tick all the Monster Hunter boxes nicely, doesn't it? The big open view in the background might be the mainstay of the series, but it adds to the epic nature of the whole thing. All in all, it's a pretty solid cover, if not a little uninspired.
Japan
The Japanese variant goes dark. Clad in the rear 3DS sidebar, this cover takes all the hallmarks of the previously mentioned design, but brings the setting to a gloomy cave. Our large creature now looms menacingly over the hero, eye-catching neon green glue flying everywhere. It may not be as clear what's going on as the EU/NA variant, but there's a certain dynamic here that we can't help but like.
