Box Art Brawl – Duel: Wario World (Gamecube)
Wario World - Chapter
Picture: Nintendo Life

Hello favorite friends, and welcome to the second edition of the Box art brawl!

Before we dive into this week's battle, to see how things came up last time. The beautiful Jim took the opportunity to draw a few quotes of Lotr with a view of the GBA version of the Lord of the Rings: Third Age. It is not surprising that Western design absolutely overthrew him with 90% of the vote. Sheesh … Usually Japan gives us pretty delicious artistic designs, but this one was a little naff, right?

This week, in order to celebrate the upcoming supplement of Wario Land 4 on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack (which, unfortunately, has the same box artistic design in all regions, added landscape orientation in Japan), we will look at it a pretty nice Gamecube intake called WARIO World.

He developed Treasures, all teams, and published in 2004, Wario World took over the series in a new direction that the species operated. It was one of those “good but not great” games, but he certainly has his fans, including us.

It's another duel this week, and we feel that this will be quite close. The Western design is quite tasty, but we had no idea how glittering the art of Japanese box was. Ooof.
