North America
The art of North American boxes follows a similar trend of design as the first two games in a row: the big old painting Mario, an outstretched weapon. This does a pretty good job showing hot new features, keep in mind. The slogan “70 brand new mini games” does what it says on the can, and see Ol 'Waluigi almost Appearing in front and in the middle.
Europe
European design is identical to his North American colleague, although the red lane of the last region has been replaced by the European Black Signature Border. This change is enough to show a little more key art, giving us a better view of Shy Guy, Chain Chop and a brand new game host Millennium Star. It's a subtle change, but a nice view of some additional details.
Japan
As always, the Japanese title art most of the portrait design of the region to give key art to vertical transformation. Much more can be seen in this variant, with the newly created Daisy and the classic villains that appear above (including a particularly tireless Bowser Jr. model), while full art is Mario and Co. sitting under. This is also our first opportunity to see all the characters stand on the play box – which is the closest indicator of what is playing about it so far.
Place it all on a star pink and yellow background and it's a really pretty comfortable picture.
