Braid: Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch has been delayed by a few weeks May 14, 2024confirmed by Thekla Inc.
The enhanced re-release of the classic indie puzzle platformer was originally supposed to launch on April 29th, so we don’t have to wait for a long time to get our hands on the game.
However, it is not all bad news. Jonathan Blow, the game’s director, revealed even more new features coming with this anniversary edition. On top of what we already know — audio enhancements, remastered visuals, improved animations, a choice between old and new styles, and over 15 hours of commentary — we’ll also get 14 “Commentary Index Levels” to accompany that commentary, 13 brand new puzzle levels, and 12 alternative designs.
Braid is undoubtedly one of the titles that popularized the term “indie” in the gaming industry. The game blew up on Xbox Live Arcade when it launched in 2008. Blow later created the 2016 puzzler. Witness
