Square Enix has announced that it is pulling its Bravely Default game for iOS and Android after just over a year on the market. Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights was launched on January 27, 2022, but as we all know the mobile game market is extremely crowded and they announced that the game will close its doors on February 28, 2023. Players will no longer be able to purchase Ithril in-game currency and all unused Ithril will thankfully be returned to players at a later date. Square Enix isn’t quite done with the game, as it says it will be releasing an offline version of Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights that allows users to revisit the characters and stories of the smartphone game. They say it will be announced later.
