Capcom recently held its 44th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, and shareholders asked them a number of interesting questions. One of these questions was about the Resident Evil series that is now available on Nintendo Switch, but as Cloud versions. The Japanese company was asked if they only develop HD remakes of the numbered units in the popular survival horror franchise, to which they said that they are in talks with their teams to work out a future expansion of the series so that various classic titles can be played by a wider audience.
Q: Will you be providing premium visual remasters of only the main numbered entries in the Resident Evil series?
A: We are talking about expanding this series in the future so that it can be enjoyed by a wider audience.
