US Gamer got a chance to chat with longtime Street Fighter producers, Yoshinori Ono, about the long-running franchise and its future. The title of the Nintendo switchch is fast approaching and Ono said that he enjoyed the sale of two Street Fighter titles to the program and will be looking at Nintendo Switch again for any other Street Fighter opportunity. This is what he said:
Since the switchch appeared, we have released Ultra Street Fighter II and Street Fighter 30th Anniriers Collection for that platform. From a business standpoint, these two qualifications were successful. We see many competing titles, including Smash Bros., perform well on the switch and players enjoy those kinds of experiences at the event. If there is another opportunity that makes sense for us, we'll think about Change again. As for Street Fighter 5, it is currently exclusive to PS4 and PC. However, as mentioned above, we see Swichi as an important platform for all types of games.
