Office Building Corp.We would like to thank our fans and customers for their support over the past years with the Cooking Mama franchise. As many of you know, Planet Entertainment LLC (Headquarters: Connecticut, USA; "The Planet") has just released "Cooking Mama: Cookstar" for sale in the U.S., Europe and Australia. This was an unauthorized release in violation of the Planet Agreement with Office Create.
In August 2018, Office Create a Planet license to develop a Cooking Mother: Cookstar's Nintendo switchch ™ game. Unfortunately, the quality of the game it creates has failed to meet the standards our customers expect and deserve. Office Create has rejected many shortcomings that affect the overall feel, quality and content of the game. However, despite being contractually obligated to fix the identified defects and resubmit the prepared game for Old Office approval, Planet has offered to release The Cooking Mother: Cookstar without having to deal with all rejections and without the Office's permission.
We also learned that Planet and / or its European distributor have been promoting the upcoming European releases of the PS4 ™ version of Cooking Mama: Cookstar. Office Create does not have a Planet license (or any other business) to make any PS4 ™ Mama cooking games. The Office for Yourself did not participate in the development of any PS4 ™ Cooking Mama game.
March 30, 2020 The Office Announces Planet made with its license termination due to intentional infringement of the planet. Notwithstanding this notice, Planet continues to advertise and sell the unauthorized version of Cooking Mama: Cookstar on its website for willful infringement of the Office's rights. To date, Planet has not confirmed the status of the unauthorized PS4 version.
Office Create analyzes all legal action against the Planet to protect our customers, the intellectual property rights of the series and the Mother's cooking series. In the meantime, we thank our customers and loyal Mother of Hope fans for their continued support and sincerely regret any confusion and disappointment caused by the behavior of the Planet.
So according to Office Create, whoever owns the Cooking Mother: Technically the copy has an unauthorized game copy. This will also explain why Travel Planet has sold copies directly from Cookstar's website.
