Creator Stardew Valley still doesn't want to close a book about his development

Stardew Valley has achieved tremendous success, and the creator of the game Eric Barone says he is not yet ready to close the game about the game despite having a new production project, Haunted Chocolatier. Barone says he would stop, if he feels the game has too many content and that players start to feel overwhelmed, but at the moment she does not feel that this is happening.

Summer: You said elsewhere that you could work on Stardew Valley for the rest of your life. So I wonder, do you see the future at some point in which you will end up with this game, in which Stardew Valley seems to be over?

Barone: I think the game can have too many content. And finally I want Stardew Valley to be the best game that can be. So, if I feel that it starts to be overwhelmed by the content to the point where it is harmful to the fun factor in the game, I would stop at that point.

The other thing is that I want to make more than one game in my life. Including development time, I have been working on Stardew Valley for over 12 years. But I don't want to definitely say that the book is ever closed, because I think I'll always have a desire to come back and maybe add something or two. You know, maybe even in 50 years, I could add something.
