CRKD (pronounced ‘Cracked’ – very good), the company behind the rather nice Nitro Deck, has revealed a ‘sister controller’ called Neo S. Available for pre-order via Website of CRKD for £49.99controllers should start shipping from April 2024.
With Hall Effect Thumbsticks, adjustable triggers, back buttons, motion controls and adjustable vibration, the controller is billed as a premium device that can easily connect to the Nintendo Switch, smart devices and even certain TVs.
For starters, the Neo S will come in 9 unique designs, including a rather eye-catching ‘Retro Gold’ edition that echoes the design of the classic Famicom, along with 3 that are in collaboration with artist POPeART. Take a look at the Splatoon-inspired design – we’d say it’s pretty unusual. Scream.
While many will be quite happy with just one of these things, CRKD is also pushing this as a collectible device, and you can even pair it with a smartphone app to rate your design’s rarity ranking and see your controller’s serial number.
Here are all 9 designs that will be available at launch:
- Retro gold edition
- Classic clear edition
- Atomic Red Edition
- Emerald Green Edition
- Orange Zest edition
- Electric pink edition
- Splatter Edition by POPeART
- Blossom Edition by POPeART
- Released by Junkyard by POPeART
