When is the Disney Dreamlight Valley Friendship Festival update?
Casita, Olaf and Mirabel will appear in Disney Dreamlight Valley from February 16, 2023
Past updates were posted at 9am ET. Here’s what it means in other time zones:
- PST: 6:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16
- GMT: 14:00 Thursday 16 February
- CET: 15:00 Thursday, February 16
- JST: 23:00 Thursday 16 February
- AEST: 00:00 Friday 17 February

What’s in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Friendship Festival Update?
Here’s everything that’s been confirmed so far.
New characters
- Mirabel (Enchantment)
- Olaf (Frozen)
It’s not yet clear how these two will unlock, though we do know that Mirabelle’s quest will require finding the doorknob to the Casita. It is unknown if this will unlock a new kingdom or simply somewhere in a city that already exists.
Still, here’s a quick look at Olaf:
New houses
We know that the Casita is a big part of this update and that’s where Mirabel will live. Some fans are even starting to speculate that Bruno will be around somewhere too…but we’re not talking about that!
If Olaf gets his own house, it will most likely be related to the new content in Frosted Heights… or he’ll just be sleeping with Elsa for now.
“Discover the secrets of the Frosted Heights biome”
As announced in the roadmap, the Frosted Heights biome will be the next biome to receive a makeover, after the Scar’s Kingdom update allows us to revitalize the Sunny Highlands.
Looking at the key image for the update, it looks like we’ll be able to repair the Pillar inside the Frosted Heights, and maybe gain access to some secret area that’s blocked off behind a giant stone door. And are those footprints?
New Disney Star Trek 100th Anniversary
We already knew that February’s Star Trek would be themed around Disney’s 100th anniversary, but we’ll have a full breakdown of Star Path soon! Until then, here’s what we know will be included:
- 100th anniversary of the companion rabbit
- 100th Anniversary Suit for Mickey
- 100th Anniversary Suit for Minnie
We’d also assume that those black and white ears the character is wearing in the key image are part of Star Trek, since they don’t already exist in the game.
