Free Radical Design, the team behind the beloved Timesplitters games, has unfortunately been shut down by Embracer Group today. The news comes as the company’s website leads to a 404 not found page, and a number of Free Radical Design employees have taken to social media to say goodbye to the studio. There were a lot of rumors about the closure, and unfortunately today it seems to have become a reality.
