Binary Haze Interactive has released a release date trailer for the sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights.
Officially titled and styled as ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist, it will launch on Switch and other platforms on January 22, 2025 in the West and a day later in Japan.
The dark fantasy Metroidvania sequel to the 2021 indie classic, Ender Magnolia, was announced earlier this year for a 2024 release, but has now been pushed back to the new year.
Early access to the game has been available on Steam since March, and during that time it received “overwhelmingly positive” reviews from players who dived into its hours.
Here’s what Binary Haze has to say about their upcoming game:
ENDER MAGNOLIA is a dark fantasy 2D side scrolling action RPG where you venture through the desolate Land of Vapors trying to save both humans and Homunculi. At the forefront of magical and mechanical development, the kingdom consists of a hierarchical social structure. Here you will encounter abandoned cities and discover laboratories full of hideous mysteries, a large Wizarding Academy, colossal factories and much more. The eerily beautiful yet creepy world of ENDER MAGNOLIA will unfold before you.
Travel with the Homunculi and help those who have lost their minds to the Fumes. Fight against fearsome, powerful enemies, purify their souls and gather your companions. Who will you save at the end of your quest — the humans or the Homunculi?
