Nihon Falcom, or Falcom for short, are very well known for their various JRPG titles. They have released many well-received games over the years, and plan to continue doing so in 2023. However, not much is known about what Falcom plans to release next year.
Well, Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo mentioned in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu that they plan to release 2 more games that will be enhanced re-releases, or “retouched”. One of them will be Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, which was recently announced.
As for what this means for the Nintendo Switch, it’s very good news. The company previously stated that it will release 3 games on the Switch in Japan by the end of the next fiscal year on September 30, 2023. Meanwhile, Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana has already been confirmed to be released on the Switch. So, it is very likely that the other 2 re-releases, which have not yet been revealed, will also have a Switch release.
