Footage has finally surfaced of an early multiplayer mode in development in the iconic Super Mario 64, which never saw the light of day. The new footage, which was uploaded to social media platform X, is consistent with how Shigeru Miyamoto described it in an interview that was published back in 1996. As you can see from the video, Mario and Luigi are seen running around the concept level. Check it out below.
