21 years ago, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem was released for the Nintendo GameCube. The game was developed by Silicon Knights and published by Nintendo. Silicon Knights is no more, but Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is by no means forgotten.

In fact, former Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack, who was the game’s director and screenwriter, recently talked about the game in an interview with KIWI TALKZ. In the interview, Dyack says that he “gets asked all the time” about remastering the game. Dyack continued, saying that “a remaster of Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem would sell well today? I think so.” As for whether or not Dyack thinks that will happen, he said that “who knows, maybe one day.”
