There seem to be changes within Nintendo. On the website we already informed you about the recent layoffs of contractors at Nintendo, but now There is a new addition within the company.
Gio Corsiformer Chief Business Officer at Iron Galaxy Studios, Chief Product Officer at IllFonic, and Global Head of Secondary Games at Sony Interactive Entertainment, has joined Nintendo of America. It has been confirmed today along with the following details:
- Joins the team third-party AAA game portfolio management from Nintendo.
- Corsi announced his new position via tweet, expressing excitement and enthusiasm for the opportunity.
- Corsi is expected to use his experience to help big teams bring their games to Nintendo’s platform.

He is known for his initiative “Building the List” at Sony Interactive Entertainment, which brought SEGA’s Yakuza series back to the West. We’ll have to see what he does at Nintendo.
