The King of Monsters is making his way to Minecraft in some brand new DLC, available at Minecraft Market.
The Godzilla DLC is out right now, and perfectly suited to Minecraft, if we do say so. The idea of a dinosaur-like kaiju stomping around the blocky world of Minecraft is genius, and that’s exactly what it’s going to do. The DLC was developed by Japanese studio Team-KYO and Impress and introduces four new gameplay modes that highlight the history of Godzilla and its films.
In the DLC, you’ll have to go to the screening rooms to find four new adventures that you can tackle alone or in multiplayer. The first focuses on an escape mission, while the second is a quick rebuild attempt while trying to build an impenetrable wall around Godzilla. Mojang is keeping the rest of the missions close for now, but you don’t have to just play as your cube character. You can play as Gigantis himself and destroy buildings to your heart’s content.
Tons of classic kaiju will also appear as enemies, so if you’re a fan of Dagon — you should be in for a great movie Godzilla minus one from last year — this is nonsense. And that trailer at the top should convince you, if not.
