Journalist Jeff Grubb talked about the next Pokemon Direct presentation, which has yet to be announced by the folks at The Pokemon Company. Grubb claims that the new Pokemon games that will be introduced, including Pokémon Legends ZA, were developed for the original Switch, not its soon-to-be-announced successor, the Nintendo Switch 2. The new Pokemon games will obviously work on the next console, but have been created from the ground up for the original Nintendo Switch system. When we hear the exact date of the next Pokemon Presents, we'll let you know.
“I've heard that everything in that Pokémon Direct will be positioned as 'These games are Switch 1 games.' It will work on Switch 2, but there won't be anything that's obviously made for Switch 2.”
