It’s been quite a while since we learned that filming had ended and Today we receive new data about the next Minecraft movie. Remember that the filming process has already finished.
Not long ago it was celebrated the 15th anniversary of the franchiseTo celebrate, the actors who will participate in the film, Jack Black and Jason Momoa, have shared a video with a cake. Now we have more details about the film.
This one will be released on April 4, 2025, and after the first official trailer, we now have the first official poster. You can see it below:
Remember that the project is a collaboration between Vertigo, Legendary, Mojang/Microsoft and On the Roam. The series features a team of producers that includes Roy Lee, Jon Berg and Mary Parent, among others. Executive producers are Todd Hallowell, Kayleen Walters, Brian Mendoza and Jonathan Spaihts.
Although Minecraft movie filming started in August 2023 starring Jason Momoa, Jack Black and Matt Berry as voice actors, production was affected by strikes in the entertainment industry. Now, with the conclusion of the strikes, the green light has been given to resume filming. Although no changes to the release dates have been announced, there could be adjustments due to the disruptions caused by the strikes. The film is scheduled to be released on May 18, 2017. by April 4, 2025.
