But although Hogwarts Legacy will not have launch microtransactions, the statement does not close the door to the future. If the game manages to amass a large player base, it would make sense for the companies involved to try to monetize by creating new content.
But microtransactions are not the only answer in this case. There is another way that studios have to make money and at the same time bring us new experiences: DLC or additional content. Some may be paid, and some may be console-dependent, like the PlayStation-exclusive Hogsmeade Haunted Shop quest.
Hogwarts Legacy: Will it have DLC content?
Another frequently asked question regarding Hogwarts Legacy is whether the game will be updated with more content in the future.
DLC is an acronym for “Downloadable content”, that is, downloadable content. Many fans hope that this new game of Harry Potter release additional content that can only be accessed by paying. This time we are not talking about simple cosmetics, but a pack with new stories, characters, maps and much more.
