Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, creator of Stardew Valley, has shared in an interview with Aftermath details about your current and future projects. Barone shared that he always has a hard time stopping once he starts working on Stardew Valley, as he always has new ideas to add to the game. As for his next project, Haunted Chocolatier, Barone said he will release it when it’s ready.
“Once I open the Stardew Valley book again, I always it’s hard for me to close it because I always want to add more things, make it better, make it cooler, make people happy,” says Barone. “It is exciting. Every single thing I add, I’m thinking about how people are going to play this and talk about it and love it. It will be part of your experience. It could create a memory they would cherish forever. That’s something special. “It’s hard for me not to want to do that.”
“[Las expectativas de los fans] They certainly put pressure on me,” he adds, “but it’s better to have a game later so it’s good than a bad game that arrives on time. When it’s ready, I’ll release it. I’m not too worried about the pressure. I don’t feel like I owe anyone anything when it comes to Haunted Chocolatier. It’s a game I’m deciding to make. “I don’t need to do it.”
You already know that update 1.6 offers new festivals and events, a new farm type, visual improvements and more content. Don’t forget that this is the last Stardew Valley update before ConcernedApe focuses on his next project, Haunted Chocolatier. However, we remember that recently the creator also stated that this version 1.6 may not be the last.
