The Nintendo Switch already has an extensive library of modern and classic fighting games on it, but one title that we’re yet to see show up is the I Little Pony-inspired take Them’s Fightin’ Herds.

That could all change very soon, according to an ESRB classification – which has rated the 2D animated fighting game for multiple platforms including the Nintendo Switch.

This title was originally released in 2020 and is a spiritual successor to Fighting is Magic. The entire cast is made up of “adorable animals” who were designed by Lauren Faust – the cre ator of the animated series I Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

.

The ESRB has rated this game E10+ and it contains “alcohol reference, fantasy violence, use of tobacco”. Here’s the summary:

“This is an action game in which players assume the role of a pony-like character battling evil forces. Players explore dungeon locations, search for an artifact, and encounter cartoony enemies (e.g., wolves, snakes, bears) to fight. Battles are presented as stylized one-on-one fights, with animal characters punching, kicking, and using special moves (e.g., lasso toss) to deplete opponents’ health bar. Fights are highlighted by impact sounds, light effects, and cries of pain. Among dozens of items, players can obtain fermented grape juice and a bottle of champagne; costume items include cigarettes/pipes with wisps of smoke.”
