Morio Kishimoto, the director of the latest 3D Sonic game, Sonic Frontiers, has revealed that Ian Flynn will be returning to write some of the downloadable content episodes for Sonic Frontiers. The DLC will arrive as part of the third expansion pack due later in 2023. The Sonic Frontiers story DLC will include a selection of new playable characters, with Sonic Stadium saying they are heavily rumored to be Tails, Knuckles and potentially Amy. When we learn more about additional content for Sonic Frontiers, we’ll let you know.
“Although Sonic Frontier has a large amount of setting, there are many episodes that cannot be told,” the Sonic Team director added. “Now that we’ve decided which episode to go with, I’m sure we’ll be able to meet everyone’s expectations!”
