Digital Games for Sleep revealed that Illustration: Creed Valley is expected to reach Change in the fall of 2020. A new Teaser trailer has been released, showing some of the things you'll be up to in the following.
The encore in A drawing, first appearing on Turnch back in 2018, this new release follows the news of heroes Dusty and Piper after their peacemaking efforts at The Mind have concluded. In the meantime, the new enemy is threatening its balance, and Dusty and Piper have to travel to the City Valley – where the myths and ideas of The are built – to face their most "formidable and sporting" enemies.
You will be facing new enemies as you navigate the game's new challenges, exploring two basic worlds of The Mind: You are open-minded and closed-minded. You will need to switch between these states and adapt to the changing environment in order to move forward, with puzzles and music boss struggles again.
Niels Sørensen, Lead Designer of Figation: Creed Valley, emphasized the importance of how the game's narrative is structured:
"It's a story that works on two fronts – the level at hand about a hero facing his enemies but also based largely on a man trying to break the norms of society and find his way in the world."
We have some screenshots and a list of features to view below.
Players can expect:
– A new chapter of Figure with its own subject matter
– New singing dreams are new with their original songs and themes
– Two sides of the same land with a different mechanic for changing the scene
– Narrative style and art
– Secrets arise as they enter the depths of the Mind
If you haven't played the original, feel free to check out our review posted during the opening of the game to find out more. We have highly praised the first game for its elegance and the way it handles its heavy issues, so hopefully something more this time.
