Pre -orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 system were great success for Nintendo, more than the company really expected. Rough pre -registration estimates show that a company based in Kyoto allocates about 1.2 million Nintendo Switch 2 units on the launch of the sun Rising. This basic figure takes into account consolidated Survey results From the first two of my Nintendo trade Switch 2 pre -orders and Japanese pre -orders traders. To put this in perspective, the original Nintendo Switch sold 330,000 launches, and Playstation 2 sold 600,000 launches.
