Boxed video game software and hardware sales in Japan came from sales tracker, Famitsu, for the week of March 6, 2023 to March 12, 2023. The best-selling game in the Land of the Rising Sun was Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe which this week sold an additional 32,132 copies. The big news of the week was the horror title, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which sold the most physical copies on the Nintendo Switch, placing it in 4th place this week. In terms of hardware, once again Sony’s PlayStation 5 console sold the most units (64,869 units), followed by the Nintendo Switch family of systems (59,901 units). Here are the top sellers in Japan:
