New My Nintendo app has been released for Android and iPhone in Japan. The app allows players to view / purchase software, check their gaming records from Wii U, 3DS and Switch when the app is linked to their Nintendo Network ID. The fun aspect is the QR scanner: looking at the Nintendo event and scanning the QR code where it will look for the user to see if a particular reward will go. Other events like Freecom use this concept already but without the use of an easy-to-use app.
The app also gives users the option to resubmit previous Nintendo presentations.
We'll be sure to let you know if this app has been released in other locations, but for now, it seems only Japanese.
