Without having to go back for the first time it is safe to say that Pokemon Sword & Shield has been a huge worldwide success on Nintendo Switch. Recent statistics from Degenki Online reveal that Pokemon Sword has removed 1.19 million copies in Japan since its launch and Pokemon Shield has replaced 795,000 copies. That puts them at a 3: 2 ratio which means that of the three copies of the Pokemon Sword sold, only two copies of the Pokemon Shield were sold. Again, this is for Japan.
