Falal Frame series producer Keisuke Kikuchi was recently contacted to find out what's going on with the Falal Frame framework and whether there is a chance to return to Nintendo's latest platform, the Nintendo switch. Mr Kikuchi has also been asked about previous game opportunities in the series that he would like to receive. Here's what it said:
The possibilities for Fatal Frames are back:
No, no. It's that though I have that optimism, this is a series that Nintendo publishes and I manage for development only. So even if I did say I wanted to do another game, that doesn't mean that that would happen.
Disaster Risk:
So I have to admit that there is a distance between my personal feelings and my desires and the feasibility of such projects. Obviously a Hollywood film is producing and will make it to the western markets, so, I obviously like to bring to our viewers not only the movie, but also the related games.
As for Falal Independence 2 and 4, Nintendo handles the copyrights, so we have no voice in the matter. Another possibility is that I'm actually looking into the Gust genre at this point, and opening lines of production with team members, in the short term will also be very difficult, but in the long run I never really gave a glimpse. So in the short term it's not real yet.
