The recently released Metroid Prime Remastered for Nintendo Switch has been a huge success thanks to the fact that it’s a really good remaster and is still an amazing game after all these years. The game did come under fire, however, as it was noted that the end credits did not include the names of the original developers who worked on the original Gamecube version and the Wii re-release. Instead of listing the names of all the people who worked on the original game, they chose to write “Based on the work of the development staff on the original Nintendo GameCube and Wii versions of Metroid Prime.” This angered Zoid Kirsch, who was the senior gameplay engineer for 2002’s Metroid Prime, and presumably the rest of the Retro Studios staff.
