Starting with the first collection, LEGO announced today that it will be expanding its Animal Crossing set lineup with at least two new buildings headed our way. August 1st.
Revealed in a rather adorable video of the KK Slider minifigure playing his tunes (the video very kindly points out that the minifig “doesn’t actually sing or move”), we get our first look at a duo of sets that look like they’re modeled after the New Horizons Town Hall and Dodo Airlines Pier.
Of course, new sets bring new minifigures with them, and according to the short clip we see at the end of the announcement video, it looks like KK Slider, Tangy, Wilbur and more will be heading into the brick-based world this summer. Our poor, poor wallets…
We currently have no indication of how expensive these sets will be, but based on previous releases in the Animal Crossing range, we suggest you start stocking up on your bells now.
