Spike Chunsoft, in collaboration with Millennium Kitchen and Toybox, has revealed exciting new information and screenshots for their upcoming summer holiday adventure game, Natsu-Mon! Summer vacation of the 20th centuryn. Immerse yourself in the idyllic town of Yomogi when you take on the role of the protagonist, the son of a ringleader from the Maboroshi circus. Yomogi, set amidst majestic mountains and azure sea, serves as an enchanting backdrop for this captivating story. Although small, the central area of the city boasts a bustling shopping district, a supermarket and v arious shops offering basic daily necessities. Explorers will also find a number of points of interest nearby, including a charming harbor, a picturesque lighthouse, a tall factory with a chimney, and even a grand mountain castle.
During the summer, the protagonist and members of the circus troupe will stay in the hospitable Ashitaba house, where several other guests will also stay. Indulge in the culinary delights prepared by the owner of the hut, Kyouko, known for her exceptional cooking skills. The game takes place over the course of one month, starting on August 1st and ending on August 31st. Each day is a combination of predetermined events and free time for players to pursue their interests. After a delicious breakfast with everyone, the protagonist’s free time begins. Join an invigorating radio exercise held in the shrine grounds, an activity in which the protagonist can actively participate. Take a walk through the lively city, full of natural beauty, and embark on exciting adventures until dinner.
Be prepared for various events with a fixed date, including encounters with new characters and other significant occurrences that will further enrich the gaming experience. As night falls, Tokotoko, a member of the circus troupe, will arrive for the protagonist. Upon returning home, spend quality time with everyone at the table, where amazing stories about the city can be shared. Additional free time awaits you after dinner, although activities are limited to the city center due to possible dangers from the mountains and the sea during the night. End each day by capturing the essence of the day through a picture drawn in the protagonist’s picture diary before going to bed. It is recommended to go to bed strictly at 10:00 p.m. every night. If you fall asleep later than the specified time, this will result in a slightly delayed awakening the next morning, preventing you from participating in an invigorating radio exercise session. In order to maintain a perfect record of radio exercise attendance, it is essential to prioritize going to bed early every night.
